The Skilled level resources cover all four Domains of the Knowledge and Skills Framework for Health and Care Staffing in Scotland.
These consist of a series of four TURAS modules, one for each domain. Each module include references and links to further reading.
Each module provides a more detailed understanding of the requirements of the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) 2019 Act This includes how the Act applies to the individual, team and service.
The modules are aimed at health and social care staff who are required to have, or are working towards a skilled level of knowledge and skills. They will support staff to have a clear, applicable understanding of workload and workforce planning. They will also aid those with team leading responsibilities to inform and support their teams in relation to the Act
Those staff using the Common Staffing Method will gain greater understanding of its use. They should engage confidently with data capture and workload tool completion.
NB. Please note that you require to be logged in to Turas Learn in order to access the modules.
There are a series of questions and reflective points scattered throughout the modules. There is also a quick knowledge check at the end of each module. These are not formal assessments. They are intended only as a check that you have read and understood the information and can relate it to your own service area.
There is no limit to the number of times you complete the module or knowledge check. We would recommend that you revisit any section that you remain unsure about.
After completion of each module please complete the short form below Module evaluation of learning form
