When things feel a bit much ...
self care

Life, work, training, deadlines, patients, difficult patient cases, tough times and everything else in between can sometimes feel a bit much.

To be able to provide the best care for your patients you must first care for yourself.

Who can I talk to?
Who can I talk to?

This page is dedicated to resources offering advice and support for anyone who feels they are suffering from stress or other mental health issues. It is also a very good place to visit for guidance if you are concerned about signs of distress in a colleague, or even a patient.

Our NES team are very supportive and will take the time to listen, may we make a few suggestions of how we can help?

  • You could arrange to speak to your trainer
  • You could speak to your local advisor
  • You could arrange a good time to call them if in-person may be difficult
What if I don't want to speak to NES staff?
