The Real Time Staffing Resource (RTSR) provides a consistent approach to how teams record their daily activity, acuity, actual staffing and what staffing they require (in their Professional Judgement), to be able to deliver safe and effective care.
The first Real Time Staffing Resource was launched in December 2021.
The National Real Time Staffing Resource went live in February 2025. This resource contains improved functionality and is suitable for all patient and non-patient facing wards/teams.
