The learning resources within this section are designed to be the foundation for your COVID-19 vaccination programme learning. Topics include: What is COVID-19? legal aspects of COVID-19 vaccination including informed consent, COVID-19 Vaccine development and adverse event reporting
The Core Knowledge for COVID-19 Vaccinators elearning resource has been refreshed in August 2022 to reflect the current context of the COVID-19 Vaccination programme.
To help support practitioners, NHS Education for Scotland/Public Health Scotland have revised and updated the Core COVID-19 vaccination eLearning and the vaccine specific learning resources. A short update learning resource, including details on eligibility for the programme and the vaccines being deployed, has also been developed.
The content continues to align with JCVI statements, Green Book Chapter and CMO letters. Practitioners should ensure they have access to the current versions of these resources.
Both new and experienced vaccinators may find it useful to review both the Core COVID-19 Vaccination eLearning and the COVID-19 vaccine specific slides.
