COVID Maternity

The COVID Maternity Remote Health Pathway has been developed to support maternity professionals to detect deterioration in symptomatic pregnant women to enable timely intervention and safer discharge from hospital.

COVID Maternity Service

Home Oxygen Monitoring (pulse oximetry), to detect low blood oxygen levels (hypoxia) associated with COVID-19, is an existing national remote health pathway available for all adults. The COVID-19 Service is supported by the Inhealthcare platform. Building on and learning from the successful implementation of  the COVID-19 Service and the Home Blood Pressure and Urine Monitoring across maternity services in Scotland during 2020, the National Maternity Network and national Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Team have been working to roll-out the Home Pulse Oximetry Monitoring pathway and Inhealthcare platform across maternity services.

We hope clinicians and pregnant women find the Inhealthcare COVID MaternityService simple and easy to use, helping improve early detection and intervention around the management and support of  pregnant women with COVID-19.
