Eat well for oral health
Eat Well for Oral Health is a collaboration between Edinburgh Community Food, LINKnet Mentoring, NHS Lothian, and NHS Education for Scotland to create bite-sized learning resources for oral health. The Scottish Government provide overall governance and funding.
The modules do not need to be done in a specific order, can be done in your own time, at home or on the move. The modules are fully accessible on your mobile phone, tablet, laptop or PC computer.

Obtaining this badge is a two step process. For Step 1, complete the e-Learning module below. Come back to this page after completing the e-Learning module and then click the link for Step 2 which will take you to the SSSC website where a reflective account needs to be submitted in order to complete the badge.
This module is part of the Eat Well for Oral Health Open Badge. The aim of this course is to identify the causes of dental decay and suggest ways to avoid dental decay at an early age.
Once you have completed early childhood decay and the impact of sugar, you will be eligible to submit evidence to apply for an Open Badge on the SSSC Open Badges website by following the link and completing the reflective account.
