A number of people arriving for their vaccine may feel anxious being back in public spaces or anxious about receiving their vaccine. In such circumstances, people may behave differently and in a small number of cases may challenge, if asked, to do something by a member of vaccination clinic staff. It is important to ensure that staff have some awareness on how to deal with behaviours that may challenge and feel supported by having some techniques that can be used.
