The following NES resources are designed to guide Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions (NMAHP) supervisors and assessors when a student may be underperforming or when consideration of reasonable adjustment is required within the practice learning environment.
The resources have been developed in response to highlighted needs and are based upon principles to provide support, they do not replace any existing guidance from higher education institutions.
This aim of this resource is to assist NMAHP practice supervisors or assessors when they find themselves in the position of supporting a student who may be underperforming during placement in the practice setting. The resource has 3 parts:
