Support Workers across all health and care settings can access a range of online learning resources to support their learning and development.

Your health board or employer will offer mandatory learning modules in topics such as moving and handling, equality and diversity and data protection. However the chances are there will be many more topics available. 

You can also access other modules and downloadable resources via Turas Learn searching by each topic area. For example, the QI Zone and Leadership and Management ZoneMental health improvement and suicide preventionLearning disability, dementia have a wide range of resources available.

The Knowledge Network offers a range of resources, including online learning opportunities. (Please note you will require an Athens password to access).

The Open University (OU) offers free online learning  in a range of different topics including ones related to healthcare.

FutureLearn offer free online courses in a range of subjects.

NHSScotland Microsoft 365 Skills Hub offering staff helpful guides and training on Microsoft 365 applications.

Talk to your line manager or your practice education teams who can signpost you to other in-house learning opportunities.
