Introduction to Bringing it Together Virtual Development Programme

Bringing it Together (BiT) takes all of the Scottish Access Collaborative’s endorsed challenges and systematically implements them with the aims of achieving services with:

  • Improved length of waits for patients
  • Demand and capacity brought into balance
  • Reduced time spent in hospital
  • Improved and more consistent pathways and outcomes for patients
  • Improved sustainability of clinical workforce
  • Reduced patient visits to hospital that don’t add value
  • Improved team cohesion and morale

This programme started on 2nd March 2021, and will be delivered at lunchtime on Tuesdays, and on a fortnightly basis thereafter via MS Teams, with the exception of key holidays.  The programme will comprise of approximately 14 core modules, which will be recorded, covering the Scottish Access Collaborative’s endorsed challenges, a series of optional modules providing further opportunities to network and share reflections and learning, and engagement with the Specialty Groups. 

The programme will be delivered in partnership with the Modernising Patient Pathways Programme (MPPP), the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Programme, Realistic Medicine and the Cancer Access Team, and will be underpinned by access to on-line resources. 

 

Dates of Sessions

Sessions will take place fortnightly on MS Teams on the dates below, 12:30pm-1.30pm.  All sessions will be recorded and will be available for viewing through the Bringing it Together Virtual Programme Teams Channel and the website. Please visit the 'General' tab of the Teams Channel to accept these sessions into your calendar.
