Introduction
These learning resources are for all NHS staff involved in the retrieval of organs and tissue for transplantation in Scotland and other UK countries.
The page contains eLearning modules, resources for trainers, a video and important links to further information. The elearning modules outline the Human Tissue (Authorisation)(Scotland) Act 2019, and explain where there are changes to the existing legislation on donating organ and tissue for transplantation and other purposes in Scotland.
You should complete the module specific to your area of clinical practice (Adult or Paediatric) and complete the pre and post course confidence questionnaires that are included within the module.
