The videos below, from the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) explain more about discrimination against people based on sex, and equal pay at work. 

Sex and the workplace
  • Close the Gap works in Scotland on women’s participation in the labour market. Their website hosts information, toolkits, research and guidance on pay inequality, the gender pay gap, and ways to reduce inequality for women at work.

  • Close the Gap developed the Equally Safe at Work employer accreditation programmes which offers e-learning modules for line managers on sexual harassment, flexible working for gender equality and violence against women and work.
