By the end of October 2017, 80% of all looked after and accommodated children in Midlothian will have undertaken life story work to help them gain an understanding of why they no longer live with their birth parents. For children who are placed for adoption, they will have a life story book and a later life letter in their possession by the time of the third coordination meeting which takes place six weeks after they have been placed.
