General practice nurse continuing professional development (CPD) learning resource
The aim of the learning resource is to support senior general practice nurses across Scotland to update their knowledge and skills as required for the refocused national role:
Public health, including primary and secondary prevention and addressing health inequalities
Care and support planning of long-term conditions including anticipatory care
Assessment of illness and injury
Supporting management of long-term conditions
Support of people with complex conditions or who are frail, as part of integrated community teams
Promotion of mental health.
