Management of Medical Emergencies (MME)

Trainees are trained to respond to common medical emergency situations using standard life support training which may involve the use of simulation. Following satisfactory performance, trainees are awarded certificates upon completion of the course. Trainees who take more than two attempts to complete the course will be referred to the National Review Panel.

A formal training session in the Management of Medical Emergencies (MME) will be held as part of your study day programme and your scheme adviser will advise accordingly when this will take place.
