The PON was established in 2015 at the request of stakeholders involved in implementing self –directed support and those involved in the integration of Health and Social Care. Since then it has developed and grown in numbers, reach and spread across the sector. There are over 400 members on the mailing list. The network is led, and meetings are planned and managed, by a small co-ordinating group (made up of staff from NES, Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS), Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), Care Inspectorate, Scottish Government, the Alliance, the Thistle Foundation and University of Strathclyde). The Scottish Government funds the activity of the PON. For more information please visit the PON website https://personaloutcomes.network/
