Scottish Improvement Leader Programme (ScIL)

ScIL Recruitment

The Scottish Improvement Leader (ScIL) Programme is a key part of Scotland’s approach to address increasing demands across our public services by developing QI capacity and capability.

We are excited to announce that the next round of recruitment for ScIL is NOW OPEN and due to high demand, we will be recruiting 2 cohorts.

Applications are open from Friday 18th January 2019 and close at 10am on Friday, 15th February 2019.

Cohorts 21 and 22 are open to colleagues working in or contributing to any area of public services in Scotland, including staff supporting the implementation of Excellence in Care.

All applicants require explicit senior sponsorship from either (a) NHS Director, (b) Director in Scottish Government, or (c) equivalent senior leader in a Public Service or Third Sector organisation to undertake the programme, to lead improvement projects, and to teach and coach others.

Informal enquiries about the ScIL programme can be made to Samantha Smith (qualityimprovement@nes.scot.nhs.uk)  or 0131 656 4264).
