The Danish Health Board defines quality indicators for different disease categories that should be met at the hospitals in Denmark. The Ob./Gyn. Department at Zealand University Hospital reports to 5 clinical databases. During the last years, we have only passed the set quality thresholds for 52% of the indicators. The vision for our Hospital is to deliver “superior quality” with respect to patient treatment and care. Therefore we decided to improve and aim to reach the threshold for 90% of the indicators in the database for births
