AIM: Introducing checklist in the delivery ward; 100 % of deliveries by 21 the of May 2017,We wanted to improve selection of women on admission to the delivery ward, and try to improve collaboration and communication between midwifes and doctors by using checklist on admission and during delivery. Due to new selection criteria, both regional and national, we have an increased number of risk patients referred to our hospital. Evaluation of own practice and cases reported to the National Health Trust has shown that we need to improve selection on admission, follow up risk assessment during delivery, and collaboration and communication between midwifes and doctors.
