This blended learning programme will utilise a range of different methods to support your learning and progression. All webinars will be delivered via an online platform and you will be provided with guidance and support to enable you to access teaching sessions and complete assessments online and electronically. Therefore you will require access to a laptop or computer that has a webcam facility and broadband internet access.

The duration of the Programme is approximately 12 months and is part-time. Candidates should already be working in a dental or medical practice and will need the support of their employers whilst undertaking this programme.
There are five units of study, all supported by a webinar, learner guide and assessment workbook. To gain the overall award, candidates must gain a pass result in all the assessment workbooks. The units of study are as follows:
The awarding body for this programme is SQA and the course is level 6 on the SCQF framework.
The fees payable to NES are £15 per unit of study (£75 in total) plus £13 per unit for SQA registration and certification.
